The Hub hosted the Dutch Export Academy this month for a 5-day program of the Dutch Export Academy. It is a training program for Ghanaian entrepreneurs who wish to start or improve their export to the European Union. The program is funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana and implemented by Ghana Netherlands Business and Culture Council (GNBCC) together with MDF West Africa (MDF WA).
The program covers export procedures, experiences from current exporters and practical workshops on e.g. packaging or finding the right customer. Feedback from one of the participants was that the course was: ‘very interesting, because it gives a broad idea of what you should look at when thinking about exporting and helps you consider other options’.
The academy already ran its first program in April 2018, and a next edition of the Dutch Export Academy is likely to take place in 2019.
